I would like to first thank you for your interest in Kristin Dittmar Design.

My love for design and arts flourished while growing up in Aspen, Colorado— my father, who is a builder, instilled the current desire I have for interior design. After high school, I attended Northern Arizona University and obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design.

After completing my education, I worked for a well established Interior Design firm in Scottsdale, Arizona, where I launched my career in the design world. From there I was able to gain knowledge from an array of designers through their different styles, from ornate to contemporary. I succeeded in completing multiple projects, from small remodels to high end large budget, and continue to work on high end residential projects.

After enduring the heat in Arizona for one too many years, I finally decided to move back to beautiful Aspen, Colorado.  I was able to work with a talented and rising designer, and quickly developed my own style.  I continued designing high end residential projects, as well as commercial projects nationwide, and took on many different positions such as Designer and Project Manager.  Ultimately, I gained an understanding and knowledge about the world of construction.

At the end of 2008, I was given the opportunity to launch Kristin Dittmar Design. We are based in idyllic Aspen, Colorado, and specialize in many different aspects of building and creating a home, or space. From construction detailing to furniture layouts, Kristin Dittmar Design provides an opportunity to specialize and tailor your project to exceed the highest expectations.
